Group tour Armenia - Georgia
A tour in Armenia and Georgia provides an excellent opportunity to spend an exciting 7-day trip at a very competitive price. You will find walks in Yerevan and Tbilisi, a visit to the very first Christian Church in the world, tours of the ancient capital of Georgia, as well as the unique taste of Caucasian dishes. Day 1. Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel, Garni, Geghard, lavash bread baking
Day 2. Etchmiadzin (Hripsime, Cathedral, Gayane), Zvartnots
Day 3 . Tsaghkadzor (Kecharis, Cableway - one station), Lake Sevan, Dilijan (old city, Goshavank, Haghartsin) ,if desired, a night in Dilijan for an additional fee.
Day 4 . Transfer to Tbilisi, accommodation at the Shardeni hotel, Old Town, Sabion Sioni (13th century), Anchiskhati temple (6th century), Peace Bridg, Metekhi Cathedral (12th century), sulfur baths.
Day 5 . A trip to the ancient capital of Georgia - the city of Mtskheta, Jvari Monastery Sightseeing of Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, visiting Samtavro,Mount Mtatsmi from where a magnificent panoramic view of Tbilisi open air walk through the evening / night city.
Day 6. A trip to Kakheti, a tour of the city of Telavi- the capital of Kakheti, the house-museum of A. Chavchavadze in Tsinandali manor, a walk in a magnificent park Kindzmarauli factory, optional wine tasting, Kvarelian wine tunnel (11km!). Optional excursion and wine tasting,Gremi fortress (XVI century), Nekresi monastery.
Day 7. Depending on the time of departure, a walk in Tbilisi, or a visit to the local market and departure to the airport.

Gyumri
Gyumri is located in the north-western part of Armenia, in the middle of Shirak valley, 126 km far from Yerevan. From the ethnical point of view it is the most colorful city in Armenia. The local traditions are deeply rooted here, national spirit is reflcted in everything. Walking along the streets of old Gyumri one still seems to hear the voice of the smiths' hammers, it seems that a cart will appear from the street corner and the carter will call to show around the city. The old houses, a part of which fortunately resisted the devastating earthquake in 1988, speak of the high architectural achievements of the city.

Akhtala
The Akhtala fortress is in Lori district and is constructed on a plateau resembling a peninsula surrounded with deep gorges from three sides. In the 10th century the masons could exactly derive benefit from the nature in order to make the fortress more fortified. The fortress is strengthened with huge ramparts and there are two pyramid-shaped watchtowers rising above from both sides of the main entrance. The monastery of Akhtala comprised of three churches is in the territory of the fortress.

Description:
Khndzoresk is a unique place of interest, it was considered a historical monument, which was preserved by the Soviet state. In addition to the cave dwellings, here we will also see the tomb of Mkhitar Sparapet 2 2 churches of 15-17 centuries.
Then we will visit the Tat Monastery, where you can sit on the Tatr record-breaking ropeway. Inside the Tat Monastery, in the 500-meter gorge of the Vorotan River, we will see one of the natural wonders of Armenia, the Devil's Bridge. This hand-made monument has been formed for millennia due to the constant influence of water and wind.
During the tour we will visit the magnificent Shaki waterfall. In the evening we will have a free wine tasting in Areni.
Garni, Geghard, Azat gorge, Lavash baking

Description:
Garni is the only pagan temple preserved in the region of Armenia. It was built in AD By order of King Trdat I in the 1st century. Before reaching the temple, we will have a stop on the way to Charents Arch, from where a wonderful view of Mount Ararat opens.
Then we will visit Geghard Monastery (Ayrivank)
During the tour we will also take part in the Armenian lavash baking ceremony as an observer.

Description:
Our first stop will be Shanavank, to reach which we have to climb several dozen steps starting from the peninsula. Then we will get acquainted with the history of the monastery complex. In Tavush region we will visit Goshavank և Haghartsin monastic complexes built in the 10th-13th centuries. The next stop will be Clear Lake. During the tour we will have a short stop in the area of Old Dilijan complex. The complex fully reflects the real spirit of the city of Dilijan in the 19th century.
Ijevan's Dendropark, Makaravank, Tsrviz

At the beginning of the tour we will visit the Haghartsin monastery complex built in the 10th-13th centuries. Then we will continue the way to Makaravank. Within the framework of the tour we will visit Tsrviz Monastery, built in the 5th century.

Etchmiadzin Cathedral and Zvartnots Cathedral

The Museum "Treasures of Echmiadzin"
is situated in the southeast section of the Cathedral. Unique holy relics and religious art are now housed in the museum. Among the many treasures are: the Holy Lance (Geghard) which pierced the side of Christ, housed in a silver reliquary; the relics of Noah's Ark in a reliquary that was created in 1698 and other valuable pieces of art. According to the history, the relic of Noah's Ark, was given to Patriarch St. Hakob (Jacob) of Mts'bna in the fourth century, as he desired to climb the peak of Mount Ararat to find Noah's Ark. After ascending the mountain, he fell asleep through the influence of God, and the angel of the Lord placed the reliquary of the Ark under his head. In a dream, the angel instructs St. Hakob to awaken, take the relic, and descend from the mountain. In addition to the pieces displayed, during archaeological excavations which were conducted due to renovation work of the Holy Altar, remnants of the original Holy Altar, founded by St. Gregory the Illuminator, dating back to 301-303 AD, were discovered.

Hovhannavank
Hovhannavank monastery bears the name of John the Baptist. The oldest church here is the one-naved basilica built in the 5th century. In the 13th century under the patronage of Vachutian dukes new buildings were added. The portal of the main church, which is embellished with evangelical motifs, is of great interest.
